Bitumen is a hydrocarbon material with high viscosity and colloidal structure, and black to dark brown color and is completely dissolvable in Carbon Disulfide and Carbon Tetrachloride. Being impenetrable to moisture and water, electrical insulation, elasticity, moderate resistance against acids, bases and salts and adhesion to other materials are the most important features of bitumen.
The most production type of bitumen in the world is petroleum bitumen which is obtained from crude oil distillation and they are classified based on Penetration Grade (standard ASTM-D5).

10/20 bitumen is a bitumen that is obtained
through aeration on a vacuum baton (the raw
material of bitumen production that is taken
from the bottom of the distillation tower in the

20/30 bitumen is a bitumen that is obtained

Bitumen 30/40 is so-called a grade of refinery
bitumen obtained from the vacuum aeration of
a distillation tower and its permeability is
between 30 and 40. The most common use of
this type of bitumen is in road construction,
insulation, building construction and liquid
bitumen production.
In terms of place of use, bitumen 30/40 is more
suitable for very dry and tropical climates. In the
field of bitumen export, Seven To Seven,
including 30/40 bitumen, has produced 30/40
bitumen, prepared 30/40 bitumen, packaged
30/40 bitumen, made 30/40 bitumen
containers, and exported 30/40 bitumen.

Bitumen 60/70 is one of the types of bitumen
produced by Seven To Seven. Bitumen 60/70 is
so-called a grade of refinery bitumen obtained
from the vacuum aeration of a distillation tower
and its penetration degree is between 60 and
70. The most common use of this type of
bitumen is in road construction, insulation,
building construction and liquid bitumen
production. In terms of place of use, bitumen
60/70 is more suitable for temperate climates.

Bitumen grade 80/100 is a standard bitumen type of penetrating bitumen, which is usually known as road grade

type of bitumen is mainly used in making hot asphalt mixture. Permeability grade bitumen such as 80/100
bitumen are bitumen that are obtained through the aeration process on the bottom of the distillation tower,
which is known as vacuum baton, so that the degree of permeability is between 80 and 100. Penetration grade
bitumen have thermoplastic property, this property causes the bitumen viscosity to decrease at high
temperature and increase at low temperature, and 80/100 bitumen is the most widely used in road coating.
